SUMMARY:Public Policy Luncheon - How Infrastructure Cost Impacts Development 9/2022
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the second installation of our series highlighting the most critical components of SAGA's local economic development strategy and considering the public policy implications of a successful local economic development program. \n\n\n\nOn Monday\, September 12th\, the series continues with Where Do We Grow Next?: How Infrastructure Cost Impacts Development. \n\n\n\nWe will explore how the physical geography and topography of Lee County have influenced where growth occurred since our community's earliest days\, specifically through its impacts on the cost and location of critical public infrastructure such as roads\, water treatment and distribution\, and wastewater collection and treatment. With the recent growth and development opportunities across the residential\, commercial and industrial sectors\, we'll seek to better understand the infrastructure costs associated with each type of development\, and how those costs vary greatly\, depending on location.\n\n\n\nRegistration is open. Lunch is included in your admission fee.
