DESCRIPTION:*Registration is open for the in person event which includes lunch*\n\n \n\nWendy Bryan\, Visit Sanford's Executive Director\, will discuss the economic impact of tourism on Sanford\, and will address the common question\, "How does tourism help me as a resident of Lee County?"\n\n\n\nBryan will also share statistics from the annual Department of Commerce report that rank states and counties by tourism dollars spent and number of tourism jobs created and maintained.\n\n\n\nVisitors statistics from the recent Carolina Indie Fest will be shared\, along with several initiatives that Visit Sanford is putting into place.\n\n\n\nVisit Sanford has multiple pillars through which they promote our community: wedding venues\, music\, retail and dining\, arts and attractions. We will also learn how Visit Sanford recruits meetings and conventions.
