Description
Join us for an informative discussion with Barbara Brothers, Business Engagement Director from Capital Area Workforce Development Board (CAWD), as she reports on the study that uncovers short and long-term hiring needs of local businesses, the training and education levels employees need for jobs of the future, and whether employers are planning on expanding their workforce or not.
Lunch provided by Chamber Member Alpaca Chicken. Registration fee includes lunch.
CAWD is a public-private partnership that focuses on economic development by ensuring the local workforce has the skills, training and education to meet the needs of local employers. The board oversees workforce solutions in Wake, Johnston, Chatham, Lee, and Orange counties that are designed to serve businesses and individuals of all ages.
