Public Policy Luncheon - The Self-Sufficiency Standard: How Much is Enough in Lee County? 12/4/17

Kendra Martin, Executive Director, of the United Way of Lee County will present on the Self-Sufficiency Standard. 

The Self-Sufficiency Standard for North Carolina calculates the real cost of making ends meet, without public or private assistance, for over 700 family compositions. We will look at the data for Lee County and talk about how business leaders, policymakers, educators, nonprofits, and other stakeholders can help families become self-sufficient.



The luncheon will begin at 11:45 am at The Flame Steakhouse. Tickets for this event are on a first come, first serve basis and can be purchased online or by calling the office at 919.775.7341. Tickets are $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Non-Chamber Members.
