UDO Amendments for Residential Development: Making Policy a Reality
Are you interested in finding out more about residential growth in Lee County? Come out and hear from local planning staff about these proposed new residential regulations.
With the adoption of the Future Land Use Plan, known as the "PlanSanlee" in the fall of 2018, the City of Sanford, Town of Broadway, and Lee County established a "blueprint" of how these communities want to grow in the next 25-30 years. Amending the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) with the adoption of new residential regulations is the first phase out of several that will provide development rules and standards that are consistent with the types of places we want to live in as identified in the Plan.
