This session will feature a guest speaker from Lee County who will share their company’s experience and process for engaging with high school apprenticeships. They will discuss how their program has created meaningful opportunities for students while also building a strong pipeline of future employees.

In addition, we will review current reports from local schools highlighting:

• Student career interests and trending pathways

• What students currently know about career options

• How students are envisioning their future careers

• Key trends shaping K-12 career awareness and workforce readiness

We will also explore best practices from other communities to showcase successful models for K-12 engagement and how local employers can get involved in impactful, practical ways.

Whether you are already engaged with local schools or are interested in learning how to build connections with students and educators, this session will provide valuable insights and actionable ideas. If you have a liaison for youth programs we encourage you to bring them or forward this email to them for registration.
